How exports work

Where to put the files once they're downloaded.

Every export is one ZIP: Crates/ holds the renamed, re-tagged audio, Playlists/ holds .m3u8 playlists that point at it, plus rekordbox-collection.xml, cue-sheet.csv and mix-points.txt with the mix-in / mix-out time of every track. Unzip first — never import from inside the ZIP.

Rekordbox

1.Unzip the export somewhere permanent — keep Crates/ and Playlists/ side by side and don't move them afterwards.
2.Rekordbox → File → Import → Import Collection, and pick rekordbox-collection.xml. BPM, key, genre, rating, comment and the mix-in / mix-out cues come with it.
3.The XML shows up under 'rekordbox xml' in the sidebar (turn it on in Preferences → View → Layout → rekordbox xml). Right-click a playlist → Import Playlist to copy it into your own collection.
4.Prefer playlists only? File → Import → Import Playlist and choose any .m3u8 from Playlists/.

Serato DJ

1.Unzip the folder into your music drive (e.g. Music/DJ BYOB).
2.Open Serato and drag the Crates/ folder onto the crate panel on the left — every genre/energy subfolder becomes its own crate.
3.For the ready-made playlists, drag a .m3u8 file from Playlists/ into the crate panel; Serato imports it as a crate.
4.Let Serato finish its analysis pass — it keeps the tags, comments and cues written into the files.

Traktor Pro

1.Unzip and keep the folder in place.
2.In the Traktor browser, right-click Track Collection → Import Music Folder after adding the Crates/ folder in Preferences → File Management → Music Folders.
3.Drag any .m3u8 from Playlists/ onto Playlists in the Traktor sidebar to recreate that crate.

Engine DJ / Denon

1.Unzip onto the drive you use with your players.
2.Engine DJ → Collection → Import → choose the Crates/ folder, or drag it into the collection view.
3.Playlists → Import Playlist → pick a .m3u8 from Playlists/ (keep it next to Crates/ so the relative paths resolve).

VirtualDJ / anything else

1..m3u8 is the universal playlist format — drag it in and the app follows the relative paths into Crates/.
2.cue-sheet.csv opens in any spreadsheet: artist, title, BPM, key, energy, rating, mix-in and mix-out times for the whole library.

Tip: if you move the unzipped folder later, re-import the playlists — .m3u8 files use relative paths from Playlists/ into Crates/.
